The first Round of 16 head-to-head sees Lewis Hamilton take on Jean Alesi, who qualified after the preliminary round held Monday.

Voting is open for 24 hours just until Thursday May 14th, 14:00 CET. The Round of 16 results will be announced at the conclusion of the round on Monday May 25th.

Lewis Hamilton
While he stars today with the Silver Arrows, Lewis Hamilton is among the many drivers who honed his craft in Formula Renault. Entered by Manor, he made his single-seater debut in Formula Renault UK during the 2001-2002 winter. Third in the British Championship in 2002, he caused a sensation in finishing fifth in the Eurocup despite starting in just four of the nine races on the calendar. Dominating in Great Britain in 2003, the Brit then continued his rise in winning the first of his six world titles in 2008.

Jean Alesi
Starting from the Renault 5 Turbo Cup, Jean Alesi made the move to single-seaters through the French Formula Renault Championship. After a strong rookie season in 1984, the Frenchman scored five podium results the following year. He then went on to win the national Formula 3 title in 1987 and the International F3000 Championship in 1989. That same year, Jean Alesi turned heads in his F1 debut. He scored his only F1 victory at the 1995 Canadian Grand Prix.
