Voting is open for 24 hours just until Saturday May 30th, 14:00 CET. The Round of 16 results and the Semi-Finals pairings will be announced on Monday June 1st.
Alain Prost
The first Formula Renault driver to become F1 World Champion, Alain Prost demonstrated the full extent of his talent right from his first season in single-seater racing. “The Professor” won 12 of the 13 races to win the French Formula Renault Championship before confirming his success by winning the Formula Renault Europe Challenge in 1977. Three years later, he got his start in F1 where he scored his maiden win with Renault, his first three titles with McLaren and his last with Williams-Renault in 1993.
René Arnoux
Winner of the Formula Renault European Challenge in 1973, then the Super Formula Renault crown in 1975, René Arnoux made his F1 debut three years later. A key actor in the French Connection battling at the highest level of motorsport, he starred at Renault where a rivalry was born between Alain Prost and him. Third in the 1983 Formula 1 World Championship, he retired at the end of 1989 with seven victories, 18 pole positions and 22 podium finishes.
