New Renault Clio Rally5 to be unveiled soon and on the start line from 2027

New Renault Clio Rally5 will be unveiled in the upcoming weeks ahead of its competition debut on special stages in France in 2027 with an international rollout to follow.

More than 17 million Clios have been sold in at least 120 countries since the first generation launched in 1990. Adapted for motorsport from 1991 onwards, the versatile city car has also made a name for itself in that world thanks to its affordable price and formidable performance.

In 2027, a new chapter will begin with the sixth-generation of Renault Clio, featuring a bolder style and sculpted lines. Designed to the latest FIA Rally5 regulations, updated for 2027, this racing car will reaffirm Renault’s commitment to affordable, competitive motorsport. This tradition began six decades ago with the Renault 8 Gordini Cup.

New Clio Rally5 will compete in two designated competitions in France in its debut season: one on tarmac and one on gravel. The brand will unveil New Clio Rally5 and the 2027 calendars in a few weeks.
