All good things come in threes in Finland, and more success for the range across Europe... Renault Clio keeps up its momentum and shows no signs of slowing down as spring approaches!

Belgian Rally Championship

Clio Rally3 got its season off to a perfect start on the Belgian national scene at Rally van Haspengouw. On a course made even tougher by heavy rain, Xavier Dekeyser and Nele Tassaert avoided the pitfalls to win the RC3 class and finish fifth in the Master Cup, where they were only beaten by Rally2 cars. Entered with Clio Rally5, Clémentine Benoit and Éric De Bolle were less successful, rolling their car shortly after the start.

Finnish Rally Championship

Already victorious in the first two rounds of the calendar, Clio Rally3 scored its third consecutive win in Finland. Kanta Yanaguida and Ville Mannisenmäki won the SM2 class on the snow and ice stages of the Riihimäki Ralli to increase their lead at the top of the championship. Also competing in Clio Rally3, Finland’s Tuomas Skantz and Juha Lummaa joined them on the podium. Clio Rally4 also performed strongly thanks to Oskari Sokka and Aino Riipinen’s top-five finish in SM3 and Vilma Kivenne and Jasmin Heinonen’s class podium finish.

French Rally Cup

Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 triumphed at Rallye de Meuse with Nicolas Miclo - Manon Gehin and Jérôme Janny - Helena Pecheur, as well as at Rallye de la Côte Fleurie with Édouard Dubos - Marceau Gouley and Néo Rivallant - Melvin Fraigne. Christophe Lancioli and Harmonie Bagnol, and Florian Bouchonneau and Mélissa Declerck did the same at Rallye de Vaison-la-Romaine, as did Yanis Desangles and Philippe Courtine, and Julien Toniutti and Guillaume Duplan at Rallye des Côtes du Tarn. In these last two events, Clio Rally4 also made it onto the podium in its category with the duos Florian Picchioni - Manon Perrin and Laurent Zambon - Carine Chauveau.

And elsewhere

The fifth-generation Clio enjoyed further success at Rally dei Laghi (Italy). Loris Battistelli and Matteo Ciorciaro finished seventh overall and led Clio Rally3 to victory in RC3, as did Pierangelo Meli and Lorenzo Bertagnon in the Seniors category. Alessandro Uslenghi and Salvatore Lupo completed a 100% Renault podium. Clio Rally5 also starred on Italian tarmac with Andrea De Nunzio and Carlotta Romano winning the RC5 class.

Elsewhere, Clio Rally3 also secured a class podium finish with Dakar specialist Seth Quintero and co-driver Topi Luhtinen at the MegaRalli (Finland). Meanwhile, Clio Rally3 set the pace with Adrian Quinn Jr and Des Sherlock at the Mayo Stages Rally (Ireland), and Maximilian Lichtenegger and Bernhard Ettel at the ARC Rallye Triestingtal (Austria). Clio Rally5 did the same with Julian Birtel and Jennifer Bartz at the ADAC Rallye Südliche Weinstrasse (Germany).
