Clio Cup Series

The return of the Clio Cup Series lived up to all expectations at Circuit Spa-Francorchamps. Whilst Lorenzo van Riet and Tomáš Pekař made impressive returns, GPA Racing scored big with wins for Damiano Puccetti and David Pouget. The Italian retains the lead in the general classification before entering the home stretch, which will take competitors to Navarra (16–18 October), then to Portimão (27–29 November). In Clio Cup France, Andreas Stucki will head into the season finale at Navarra in a strong position.

French Rallycross Championship

Clio RX put on a show at the Circuit Maurice Forget. The Division 5 by Yacco title battle became a head-to-head contest between Ronan Deslandes and Gautier Sarhy. On Saturday, the latter beat the former; on Sunday, his rival struck back to score his fourth win of the season. Behind them, Ewan Hudo secured his second consecutive podium finish. Further down the field, Timothée Carrée, Hugo Boinay, Willem Tarriere, Louis Durand and James Briffard kept the action alive throughout the weekend in Mayenne. The battle for the crown will conclude on 10 and 11 October at Dreux.

Czech Rally Championship

Clio Rally5 secured a one-two-three-four finish at the season’s final round, Rally Pačejov. Radek Trnka and Petr Cibulka won on the tarmac at Horažďovice, ahead of Michal Kolář and Jan Kubala – who had already clinched the RC5 title – as well as Martin and František Končal. Meanwhile, Jan Schmied and Pavel Polák secured a podium finish with Clio Rally3. Michal Havránek and Jiří Jevický Jr. finished just outside the top five with Clio Rally4.

Dutch Rally Championship

The range starred at the Hellendoorn Rally, round seven of the season. Clio Rally3, Clio Rally4 and Clio Rally5 all triumphed in their respective classes with Leo Kurstjens - Theo Dijkmans, Timo van der Marel - Erwin Berkhof and Paulo Soria - Axel Coronado. With second place in RC3, Willem Wouter Overbeek and Renaldo Lier clinched the Rally3/4 category title of the HEC Clio Rally Trophy. Jip van Iersel and Max Dijkmans wrapped up the Rally5 title.

Italian Rally Championship

Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 dominated their respective categories at Rally Lazio Cassino. Rio Ogata - Mikael Korhonen and Kanta Yanaguida - Ville Mannisenmäki secured a one-two finish for Renault in both RC3 and Rally3. Meanwhile, Emanuele Bruscino and Giuseppe Piccirilli won in RC5, Rally5 and R1, where Renault remains in the lead with Davide Nicelli and Martina Bertelegni heading into Rally di Sanremo (16–17 October). Both models also triumphed in the support event with Luca Della Sala - Andrea Marzella and Giuseppe Mainolfi - Nazzareno Rosa.

Mexican Rally Championship

In Mexico, Renault also made its mark with a podium finish in the overall classification for Clio Rally5 at Rally Patrio. Surpassed only by a Rally2 car, Carlos Martínez and Adrián Carmona finished ahead of several more powerful entries to take second place. They also secured a one-two finish for the model in its class with José María Barba and Carolina Ortiz.

Polish Rally Championship

Michał Chorbiński and Adam Chrzanowski rounded off their superb season with a fifth victory in six starts, finishing fourth overall in the Rajd Wisły. Beaten only by cars in the higher class, the 2024 two-wheel-drive champion is the 2026 Polish Rally Champion in Rally3 whilst finishing fifth in the overall championship across all categories. Tomasz Bargiel and Jakub Wróbel completed the model’s one-two on the Polish tarmac.

Swiss Rally Championship

Clio Rally5 excelled once more in Switzerland, sweeping the top eight places in RC5. Alain Rey and Léa Crelier took the class victory at Rally del Ticino ahead of Raphaël Gavazzini - Lucia Curti and Michele Chiesa - Lorenzo Molteni. The winning crew climbed to second place in the Swiss Rally Cup general classification.

Turkish Rally Championship

Clio Rally5 claimed victory at the ESOK Rally, round five of the Turkish championship. With 11 of the 12 fastest times on the gravel special stages around Eskişehir, Burak Başlık and Sedat Bostanci won in RC5 and finished on the two-wheel-drive podium. Ugur Kaban and Mert Kaya took second place, moving even closer to the national title. Hilal Aslan and Güray Akgün finished runner-up in the Women’s category, also with Clio Rally5.

Uruguayan Rally Championship

Renault continued its superb campaign in Uruguay by claiming its fifth overall victory at round six of the season. Luigi Contin and Cecilia Cedrés drove Clio Rally4 to another overall victory at Rally de Treinta y Tres, consolidating their championship lead. They were joined on the podium by the Clio Rally5s of the top RC4N crews: Pablo Cuadrado - Gonzalo Martínez and Federico Devoto - Adriano Sanguinetti. Renault monopolised the top seven places in the general classification.

French Rally Cup

The four Clio Rally variants shone across France throughout the weekend. At Rallye Régional de la Vie, Clio Rally3, Clio Rally4, Clio Rally5 and Clio Rally6 all won their respective classes with Willy Mathey - David Bouteau, Thierry Landais - Morgan Lefebvre, Hugo Mathey – Maëva Perrinaud and Benoit Bourchenin – Camille Guillon. The same quadruple victory was recorded at Rallye d’Envermeu with the pairs Ludovic Lemoine – Antoine Brument, Anthony Dujardin – Angela Feuray, Thomas Simeon – Édouard Lafosse and David Lekeu – Mathis Lekeu.

Still in France, Clio Rally3 won its class with Jean-Baptiste Franceschi and Nicolas Valici, who finished second overall at Rallye du Pays de Fayence. Brice Droulin and Guillaume Tapias also led Clio Rally5 to victory there. Both models then triumphed at Rallye du Suran with Damien Brisgand - Sandra Cortinovis and Laurent Pellier - Kévin Bronner; at Rallye de Corte Centre Corse with Battistu Ceccaldi - Audrey Nesta and Ugo Grégory - Léa Achilli; and at Rallye du Haut-Lignon with Gérard Delorme - Christelle Maloron and Silvio Cammarota – Eva Dolmazon.

In other events, Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 triumphed at Rallye des Camisards with Alan Tribouillois - Laëtitia Arnaud and Bastien Leborne - Mathilde Amiel. Lastly, Clio Rally5 led the way at Rallye de l’Alsace Bossue with Théo Martel and Lois Clément, at Rallye de l’Auxois with Michaël Perrin and Anatole Todesco, and at Rallye du Pays de Saint-Yrieix with David Panteix and Joris Sinet.

German Rally Cup

Clio Rally5 locked out the top four places at round 12 of the Deutscher Rallye Cup at the ADAC Rallye Kohle & Stahl. Kurt Escher and Leon Hasenkamp took the win after edging Daniel and Sandra Wittner by just 0.3s on the tarmac special stages around Nohfelden. Oliver Selmikeit and Katharina Borckholder completed an RC5 podium dominated by Renault.

And elsewhere

Clio Rally3 secured a one-two finish overall on gravel at the Juuka Ralli (Finland), with Matias Nevalainen and Joonas Ojala ahead of Miikka Vuokila and Mika Alalahti. In Sweden, Isak Sjökvist and Simon Lindström finished runner-up at the Höstjakten with Clio Rally3. Their compatriots Simon Andersson and Claire Mole finished in the overall top five and second in the two-wheel-drive category with Clio Rally4 at the TV-Svängen (Sweden).

Clio Rally5 also set the pace with André Freitas and Agostinho Bettencourt at Rali Municípios do Funchal e Câmara de Lobos as part of the Madeira Rally Championship (Portugal). The same tarmac roads also saw Emanuel Martins and João Camacho finish on the two-wheel-drive podium aboard Clio Rally4. Clio Rally5 also delivered a one-two, led by Moisés Plasencia and Jordan Brito, at Rallye La Palma Isla Bonita, a round of the Canary Islands Championship (Spain), while Alessandro Prodorutti and Maurizio Lazzer took victory at the Keusch Grasl Rally (Austria).
