Customer Racing Activities – 2025/#24

It was a successful first weekend of summer for Clio Rally and Clio RX on the roads and circuits of Europe, with impressive performances in their respective categories. Here’s a roundup of the latest victories for the range!

French Junior Rallycross Championship

The Circuit des Tourneix in Châteauroux was the venue for round three of the FFSA French Junior Rallycross Championship, with an all-Clio RX field. Dylan Léger and Kelig Gouesbet won the qualifying heats, but Gautier Sarhy gained the upper hand in the final to claim victory ahead of Thomas Quincé and Hugo Jouan. Thanks to this victory, the Bordeaux native now leads the general classification by six points ahead of Dylan Léger and 11 ahead of Kelig Gouesbet before the competitors end the first half of the season at Pont-de-Ruan (July 5-6).

Czech Rally Championship

The Rally Hustopeče saw Clio Rally4 win in RC4 with Filip Ocelka and Tomáš Plachý, who also finished runners-up in the two-wheel drive category to retain the lead in the national championship. On the same tarmac, Clio Rally5 set the pace with Jakub Kořínek and Petr Cibulka in RC5.

Dutch Rally Championship

Clio Rally3 continued its impressive run in the Netherlands at round four of 2025, the ACON-Van der Spek Vechtdalrally. Michiel Becx and Sander van Barschot led a one-two in RC3 and finished eighth overall. Clio Rally5 also excelled on the tarmac roads around Hardenberg with another class victory for Max van Empel and Eddy Smeets.

Romanian Rally Championship

In the third meeting of the Romanian Championship, the Raliul Clujului also hosted round three of the country’s Clio Rally5 challenge. On the tarmac stages around Cluj-Napoca, Samuil Mircea and George Marinescu secured their second consecutive victory to extend their championship lead over Sabina Ghiormescu and Ștefan Șimon, who finished second in this event. Andrei Bîrsan and Mihail Sandu completed the podium.

French Rally Cup

Clio Rally3, Clio Rally4 and Clio Rally5 all won their classes at the Rallye des Bornes with Sébastien Parmier – Fabrice Vergnenegre (Rally3), Dylan Gagnière − Benjamin Grillot (Rally4) and Romain Fostier − Ophélie Abchiche (Rally5). Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 also enjoyed success at the Rallye Suisse Normande with Arnaud Gautier - Édouard Dubos and Néo Rivallant − Stéphanie Rivallant. Meanwhile, Clio Rally5 bagged further wins with Enzo Mavounzy & Matthieu Belhacene at the Rallye des Grands-Fonds, Axel Delaporte & Olivier Guibout at the Rallye du Brionnais, Damien Vaissière & Sébastien Romero at the Rallye du Sidobre and Elona Ginet & Maëva Dupuy at the Rallye de Salazie.

And elsewhere…

In Italy, Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 dominated several classes and categories, both at Rally San Martino di Castrozza e Primiero, with Matteo Giordano - Manuela Siragusa (Rally3), Alessandro Forneris - Vincenzo Torricelli (Rally5) and Silvia Franchini - Erika Badinelli (Women’s), and Rally Appennino Reggiano, with Valentino Ledda - Claudio Mele (Rally3), Davide Tonelli - Stefano Tonelli (Rally5) and Erica Ranalli - Emanuele Mischi (Women’s). Lastly, Clio Rally5 won in Portugal in the two-wheel drive and P2-4 categories with Carlos Rafael Marreiros and Ricardo Barreto at Rally de Beja.
