Customer Racing Activities – 2025/#14
Clio Rally3, Clio Rally4 and Clio Rally5 again triumphed on the roads of Europe to add to their list of successes in various national championships. From Madeira to Romania via Austria, Italy, San Marino and many other countries, here is a look back at a prolific weekend for the benchmarks in their respective classes!
Italian Rally Championship
The Rally Regione Piemonte hosted round two of the Campionato Italiano Assoluto Rally Junior. In a field made up solely of Clio Rally5s prepared by Motorsport Italia, Matteo Greco and Edoardo Brovelli led from start to finish in tricky weather conditions to win ahead of Mattia Ricciu - Giovanni Mazzone and Giacomo Marchioro - Daniele Conti. Thanks to this success on home soil, Matteo Greco moves into the championship lead ahead of the Targa Florio (8-10 May).
On the same roads, the Finnish duo of Jesse Kallio and Ville Pynnönen dominated their class from the start in their Clio Rally3 debut while battling with several crews in the higher categories. Lastly, Clio Rally5 won the Rally5 and Junior with Giorgio Corrò and Matteo Migliore in the CRZ version of the event.

Austrian Rally Championship
Clio Rally3’s fine Austrian run continued at the Laser Hero Lavanttal Rally, where Hermann Gaßner Jr and Ursula Mayrhofer led a 1-2 for the model in RC3, ahead of Denmark’s Jacob Leutenberger Madsen and Line Nedergaard. With this victory, the German driver takes the lead in the Mitropa Rally Cup and continues to widen the gap at the top of the Austrian Rally Cup, where he now has three successes in as many starts.
Madeira Rally Championship
Round two of the 2025 season in Madeira, the Rali de Santana saw Clio Rally5 score a 1-2 in RC5 led by Décio Perestrelo and Nuno Rodrigues. On the same tarmac stages, Clio Rally4 finished on the RC4 and Masters podiums with Emanuel Martins and Cristiano Freitas. The Rali Município de São Vicente (9-10 May) will be the next event on the calendar.
Romanian Rally Championship
The 2025 Romanian Rally Championship opened with a class victory for Clio Rally5 with István Soós Hortea and Ákos Szabó on the asphalt of the Raliul Harghitei. The crew also won round one of the Clio Rally5 challenge in the country ahead of Samuil Mircea - George Marinescu and Sabina Ghiormescu - Robert Fus. The championship returns to action at Raliul Maramureșului (24-25 May).
San Marino Rally Championship
Clio Rally3 got its new San Marino Rally Championship campaign off to a perfect start with a class victory for Sandro Schenetti and Alberto Domenico Corradi at Rally Bianco Azzurro. The opening round of the calendar was also a success for Clio Rally5, with Matteo De Sabbata and Laura Floreancig beating the eight other crews in the Rally5 class.
French Rally Cup
Clio Rally3, Clio Rally4 and Clio Rally5 added to their list of successes in France with a triple win at the Rallye de Séquanie with Thierry Cassard and Florian Guichard (Rally3), Cédric Racine and Guillaume Boivin (Rally4) and Enzo Beschet and Romain Gandré (Rally5).
Several double victories were also scored. Second overall in the Rallye des Salines, Arnaud Gautier and Edouard Dubos took the honours in Rally3, as did Sébastien and Emma Alemany in Rally5. The Rallye du Balcon Est du Vercors produced the same result with Stéphane Vedelago and Stéphanie Latrémé (Rally3) and Tom and Frédéric Vauclare (Rally5). Clio Rally4 and Clio Rally5 also set the pace at the Rallye Autocourse with a top-five result overall and a class victory for Sébastien and Nicolas Blondel, as well as the triumph of Calvin Lucas and Julie Plat in Rally5.
Lastly, Clio Rally5 dominated its class with Marc Pompei and Patrick Chiappe at the Ronde de la Giraglia, Mickael Choquer and Stéphanie Choquer at the Rallye de Venasque and Sébastien and Jérémy Blaudy at the Rallye du Quercy.
And elsewhere
Clio Rally3 triumphed in Poland, with Michał Chorbiński and Adam Chrzanowski winning Rally3 and taking fourth place overall at the Tech-Mol Rally. The model also won in Italy with Leonardo Scalco and Carlo Guadagnin at the Paganella Rally, where Michele Falezza and Giulia Tomasi also won their class with Clio Rally5. Meanwhile, Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 were in their element at the TAC Rally, both in RC3 and in the Belgian Second Division Championship for Benoit Verlinde and Juliette Tsjoen and in RC5 for Jeroen Catelin and Jeffrey Vandenbussche.
Clio Rally4 excelled in Sweden, with Simon Andersson and Jörgen Jönsson finishing second overall in the Bil-Månsson Rallysprint. Filip Ocelka and Jan Mikulík came third overall in the Czech Rally Sprint Championship and second in RC4 I at the Morava Rally, where Clio Rally5 won in RC5 with Jiří Hladík and Veronika Teplá. Lastly, Kevin Kipar and Raúl Sánchez won at the Orvecame Rally (Spain) in their Clio Rally5, as did Hélder Rebelo and Maria Allen e Gouveia at the Vieira do Minho Rally (Portugal), Jordi Nualart and Daniel Rivera at the Ral. li del Trepat (Spain) and Pierre Günther and Susann Gebauer at the AC Hof Rallysprint (Germany).
