The action is picking up in spring with overall victories for Clio Rally3 in Germany, Clio Rally4 in Uruguay and more successes across Europe, where many crews have been preparing for their upcoming fixtures in Clio Trophy France Asphalte and Clio Trophy France Terre!

Clio Trophy Spain Tierra

Fernando Daparte and Emanuel Rozados won the opening round of the 2025 Clio Trophy Spain Tierra season in the muddy and wet conditions of the Rallye Tierras Altas de Lorca. The Argentines ran a strong rally on their debut in Spain before taking advantage of the retirement of Alexandre Villiod and Jacques-Julien Renucci on the final special stage. Frenchmen Jean Lavigne and Arnaud Cubizolles finished runners-up ahead of Clio Trophy Canarias runners-up Álvaro Santana and Juan Monzón. The next round will be the Rally Ciudad de Pozoblanco (2-3 May).

Italian Rally Championship

Rally Il Ciocco e Valle del Serchio marked the start of the 2025 Italian Rally Championship season. In Tuscany, Clio Rally5 stole the show with Giacomo Franceschini and Jacopo Merusi leading a sweep of the class podium. Clio Rally3 was not to be outdone in the CRZ version of the event with the success of Massimo Pucci and Silvio Gabrielli, in addition to fourth place overall for Leonardo Della Nina and Nicola Ricci with Clio Rally5.

Uruguayan Rally Championship

Clio Rally4 and Clio Rally5 had a strong showing in round one of the Uruguayan Rally Championship, with all six crews at the start finishing in the top seven overall of the Rally de Piriápolis. Luigi Contin and co-driver Cecilia Cedrés dominated the competition, with nine best times out of ten stage wins on the gravel to win by 38.8s. Federico Quintela and Joaquín Varela finished third and won the RC4 Light category ahead of four other Clio Rally5s. The Rally de Rocha (25-27 April) will be the next event on the calendar.

French Rally Cup

In France, Clio Rally3, Clio Rally4 and Clio Rally5 ran the table at the Rallye des Vins du Gard with the successes of Romain Durand - Ewen Leenhardt, Nathanaël Zappacosta - Marie Bres and Guillaume Lambert - Benjamin Trebuchon. Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 also won at the Rallye du Vallon de Marcillac, with Gaël Tribouillois - Laëtitia Arnaud and Batiste Moisset - Rémi Mejane respectively, as well as at the Rallye de Printemps, with Fabrice Martin - Marlène Thiriot and Florent Fagnone - Benjamin Fagnone. Meanwhile, Stéphane Dexet-Leyser - Éric Jullian and Anthony Diel - Yannis Gosselin secured a double victory for Clio Rally4 and Clio Rally5 at the Rallye des Vignes de Régnié, as did David Erard − Sarah Junod and Alex Florenson − Charline Dichamp at the Rallye de Franche-Comté and Thierry Landais − Morgan Lefebvre and Thomas Foucher - Anais Urban at the Rallye Val de Boutonne.

German Rally Cup

Already victorious at the kick-off of the DMSB Rally Cup, Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 did it again in round two at the ADAC Rallye Buten en Binnen. The Dutch crew of Willem Wouter Overbeek and Joyce Ruiter set the pace to win in RC3, while the Danes Oliver Sørensen and Frederik Bülow Glad did likewise in RC5. DMSB-Rallye-Cup Renault Sindermann leaders Tim Wacker and Luca Kiefer have moved their Clio Rally5 into third place overall in the cup ahead of the next event at the ADAC KW-Ostalbrallye on 5 April.

And elsewhere

Clio Rally3 continued its fine run of form in Germany, with Hermann Gaßner Jr and Ursula Mayrhofer winning the ADAC Rallye Hutthurm outright. The model also triumphed in Italy, with victories for Roberto Benazzo and Giampaolo Francalanci (Rally3) and Marco Nicoletti and Veronica Modolo (Rally5) at the Rally Vigneti Monferrini. Still in Italy, Clio Rally5 won with Ugo Valdarchi and Giorgio Aricò at the Rally Sulcis-Iglesiente. Lastly, Clio Rally5 took an overall podium in Spain with José Luis Moreno and Elizabeth Gallego at the Rallysprint Culebrín Pallares, not forgetting the class win of Miguel Vilares and José Manuel Sobrado at the Rallye del Bierzo.
