First wins of the year in the French Rally Championship, maiden victory for Clio Rally3 in the United States, and strong performances against stiff competition from across Europe... The three versions of Clio continue to reap rewards in rallying!

French Rally Championship

Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 dominated their respective classes in the 2025 French FFSA Rally Championship opening round at the Rallye Le Touquet Pas-de-Calais. Clio Rally3 monopolized the Rally3 podium, with Thomas Anacleto and Marie Stirling pipping Christophe Merlevede and Giljan Vandromme for the win in the final special stage while Antoine Dhaisne and Camille Flajolet completed the top three. Meanwhile, Andrea Pelini and Juliette Lewandowski dominated their category on the roads of the Hauts-de-France, winning all 12 timed sectors en route to victory in Rally5 and third place in the Michelin Trophy.

ARA National Championship

Just over a month after its debut in the United States, Clio Rally3 won for the first time in the ARA National Championship with Sean Donnelly and Zach Pfeil. On the Salem special stages, the American duo unleashed the magic of Clio Rally3, winning 11 of the 15 gravel stages of the Rally in the 100 Acre Wood to win by more than eight minutes in L4WD and LN4. On the back of this success, the pair have moved up to third overall in the championship and are now leading their category ahead of their next outing, the Olympus Rally (12-13 April).

Turkish Rally Championship

The Turkish Rally Championship launched its new season on the tarmac of the Marmaris Ege Rallisi. Clio Rally3 finished in the top ten overall with Sinan Soylu and Bora Yilmaz and won the women’s category with Eda Soylu and Yusuf Çalik. Clio Rally5 was not to be outdone with the RC5 success of Ugur Kaban and Melih Uygur, while Demir Sancakli and Aras Dinçer finished runner-up in the Junior category, behind a Rally2.

Madeira Rally Championship

Clio Rally4 and Clio Rally5 got off to a perfect start in their new campaign in the Madeira Rally Championship at the Rali Marítimo Município de Machico. Last year’s 2WD and RC4 champions, Vasco Silva Jr and Tiago Fernandes led from start to finish in both categories, finishing eighth overall in the rally. Meanwhile, André Freitas and Agostinho Bettencourt placed Clio Rally5 on the RC5 podium’s top step.

French Rally Cup

Clio Rally5 notched up another two class victories in France thanks to Arnaud Costa and Tony Taddei at the Rallye di u Paese Aiaccinu, as well as Jean-Jacques and Yann Ferrier at the Rallye de Haute-Provence. In the latter event, Clio Rally4 also reached its class podium with a third-place finish for Claude and Patricia Benedetto.

Greek Gravel Rally Cup

Clio Rally3 again demonstrated all its potential on the gravel stages in Greece, as only a Rally2 could beat the duos of Paschalis Chatzimarkos/Marios Tsaoussoglou and Panagiotis Paradissis/Mihalis Fragkou in the Molon Lave Sprint Rally. Thanks to this strong performance in Sparta, the two crews took first and second place in their class and a double overall podium finish.

And elsewhere

In Belgium, Clio Rally3 scored a 1-2-3 in 3G at the Short Rally van Moorslede led by Timothy and Clementine Van Parijs. In the same event, Clio Rally5 won in 2D with Alexander Derez and Barbara Vromman, while the model also triumphed at the Rallye des Ardennes with Nicolas Vanderweerde and Arnaud Hensmans. Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 also set the pace in Italy with Antonio Gaetano - Michael Pisano and Stefano Sangermani - Mauro Gentilotti at the Motors Rally Show Pavia.

Still in Europe, Clio Rally5 added to its tally of victories in Spain thanks to Kevin Kipar and Raúl Sánchez at the Orvecame Isla de Lanzarote Rally and Adrián del Moral and Juan Grimalt at the Autoventa Manacor Rallysprint. The successes of Daniel and Sandra Wittner at the ADAC rthb Rallye Hessisches Bergland (Germany) and of Tiago and Fernando Pereira at the Rali Cidade Termal (Portugal) rounded off this latest haul of victories.
