The attractions of the Renault Village #1: R.S. is Racing
Situated in the heart of the paddock, the Renault Village this year comprises five different exhibition areas, all of them combining to make World Series by Renault one of motorsport’s most popular events. Complementing each other perfectly, these five attractions provide racegoers with a global vision of the Renault Sport world.
Fast, Free & Fun, the World Series by Renault combine the high technology of a 100-percent Renault championship and a popular concept that allows fans to get a close-up look at the future of motor racing at the highest level, all thanks to a paddock that offers free admission and a host of attractions based on the brand’s values and history.
The all-Renault meetings are a great way for the public to find out what motor racing is all about, a concept that finds its perfect embodiment in the R.S. is Racing zone, which takes racegoers on a fun-packed journey to the heart of elite motorsports.
At each meeting R.S. is Racing lets the fans get up close to WSR’s flagship car, the Formula Renault 3.5, the championship’s single-seater supreme.
As well as getting a taste for the unique atmosphere of motor racing, which is the very essence of Renault, R.S. is Racing also allows spectators to try their hand on the Batak machine. A familiar training tool for drivers, the Batak helps them improve their speed of reaction and hand-eye coordination, both of which are essential to top-level performance on the track.
Offering plenty of fun for all the family, the Batak is one of the star attractions of the Village, challenging fans to test their reflexes and match the times set by the drivers who use it on a regular basis, and perhaps even inspiring some of them to go into motor racing.
