Renault Sport Technologies and RPM Racing continue together in the World Series by Renault

For nearly a decade, Renault Sport Technologies and RPM Racing have enjoyed a successful collaboration in the World Series by Renault, one of the most entertaining and popular motor racing events in the world. The two entities have agreed to extend their association for the next two years, 2015 and 2016.

It was during the creation of the World Series by Renault in 2005 that Renault Sport Technologies and RPM Racing began their partnership. Unifying their forces, both parties have continued to grow the event that now has an international dimension. Today, each meeting of the World Series by Renault is an example to be followed in motor racing and entertainment circles.

For the past ten years, more than 5 million spectators have been welcomed at the most emblematic circuits for the Fast, Free & Fun weekends. At the same time, the Formula Renault 3.5 Series and the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 have become stepping stones to F1, as demonstrated by the careers of Sebastian Vettel, Daniel Ricciardo, Kevin Magnussen and Valtteri Bottas. In 2015, the public will experience a new category with the creation of the Renault Sport Trophy.

Over the years, the cooperation between RPM Racing and Renault Sport Technologies has extended to many key activities of the organization: coordination, on site management, the sporting aspect, sponsoring, communication, television and logistics; all contributing to the success of challenges like the inauguration of the Moscow Raceway.

During this same decade, RPM Racing has participated in the creation of institutional agreements with several public and private organisations, with always the same goal of developing the unique concept of the World Series by Renault.

Patrice Ratti, President of Renault Sport Technologies:
”For ten years, our two teams have worked in close collaboration for the development of our sporting and popular event. Renault’s international championships are of the highest level and can be proud to be recognized among the best. I am convinced that in continuing the union of our forces in the future, we will be able to take more and more drivers to the summit of the sport.”

Jaime Alguersuari, President of RPM Racing:
”Everything that has taken place over the years in this arrangement between RPM Racing and Renault Sport Technologies is summed up in one word: emotion. How could it be otherwise? With the renewing of our alliance until the end of 2016, it will be 12 years that the constructor and our private business will have been associated. It must be a record in the automobile sector and this feat couldn’t have been realized without effectiveness, productivity, honesty and efficiency.”
